Welcome to the 2009 North Valley Youth Baseball Invitational! Our Invitational this year is scheduled for June 17th through June 24th. if you want to be added to our e-mail list, please drop us a line @ lomatise@yahoo.com and let us know you want to be included in our Invitational this season. Thank you! Our age brackets are: Shetland (5 & 6), Pinto (7 & 8), Mustang (9 & 10), Bronco (11 & 12), Pony 13U and Pony 14U. The Pony 14U team may have 13U players, but if a team is entered in the 13U bracket, all players must be 13U. Age determination date is April 30, 2009, per Pony 2009 rules. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Steve Dix at 818-521-4255. TOURNAMENT INFORMATION: Pony Tournament Rules will be used and followed. 1. NVYB Invitational starts June 17, 2009. 2. Managers Meeting (book check-in and pulling numbers for pool play) will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2009 at 5:00 pm at the NVYB Snack Shack. 3. Pools will be determined randomly with numbers pulled from a hat at the Managers Meeting. 4. 16 teams max per division. We will have an (A) bracket and a (B) bracket with up to 8 teams in each bracket. First paid, first reserved. 3 game guarantee. 5. Cost for Pinto through Pony: $400 if paid by 5/31/09; $425 after 6/1/09 - no parking fees*. 6. Cost for Shetland: $325 if paid by 5/31/09; $350 after 6/1/09 - no parking fees*. 7. Championship award for each player on each winning team in each division/bracket (A/B) and participation pins for all players in each division. 8. Two umpires per game (Pinto through Pony). One umpire for Shetland. 9. NVYB Snack Shack will be open during the tournament. LAST DAY TO REGISTER IS 6/9/09. *FEES PAID FOR THE TOURNAMENT INCLUDE ADMISSION AND PARKING FEES FOR ALL PLAYERS, COACHES AND SPECTATORS. THERE WILL BE NO ADDITIONAL CHARGES FOR SPECTATORS ATTENDING ANY OR ALL THE GAMES AT NVYB.
